2024 Financial Summary

In a year marked by complexity, the enduring partnership between Taglit Birthright Israel, the Israeli government, and the people of Israel remained vital. The financial support provided constituted approximately 25% of Taglit’s 2024 budget, helping sustain our mission during this pivotal time. Equally essential was the steadfast commitment of our U.S.-based Birthright Israel Foundation, along with dedicated supporters from around the world, whose unwavering generosity ensured the continuity of our programs—even through global and regional challenges.

In the wake of COVID-19 and the war in Israel that shook the Jewish world, overall participant numbers declined. Yet Taglit Birthright Israel responded with agility, expanding our program portfolio and introducing new offerings tailored to the evolving reality.
