Taglit is the best way to support Israel. Young people who know little or nothing about Judaism and Israel are given knowledge, culture and love here in an unforgettable experience. In my own family, of two brothers, only one took part in Taglit. There are now worlds between them in their attitudes towards Israel and Judaism.

I believe it is important to give the Jewish Youth across the world an opportunity to see a secular Israel in which men and women have equal opportunity, a country with a free press and an independent judiciary, and a state that attempts to support LGBTQ rights. Coming to Israel is a life-long wake-up call that is second-to-none for a Jew, especially at a young age as opinions are still forming, while having to defend against the loud and angry voices depicted in news cycles and on social media.
