TERMS OF SERVICE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. BY USING THIS SITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY, AND HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF, THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SERVICE:
1. Birthright Israel International (CC) (hereinafter: “Taglit – Birthright Israel”) provides all information on this website (together with the underlying source HTML/PHP files that implement the hypertext features, this “Site”) exclusively under these Terms of Service.
2. The material on the Site is for informational purposes only, and is subject to change. All Taglit- Birthright Israel products and services are only offered in jurisdictions in which they may be lawfully offered, and are subject to the terms of an agreement acceptable to both parties.
3. All right, title and interest (including all copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights, except those owned by other parties) in this Site is the property of Taglit- Birthright Israel. Except as expressly provided by these Terms of Service, nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring any license or right, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, under copyright or other intellectual property rights.

You are hereby granted a nonexclusive, nontransferable, limited license to view, reproduce, print, and distribute insignificant portions of materials retrieved from this Site provided (a) it is used only for informational, non-commercial purposes, and (b) you do not remove or obscure the copyright notice or other notices.

10. These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, as they apply to agreements made and solely performed therein. Disputes arising hereunder shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the authorized courts in the District of Jerusalem, and there alone.
11. Taglit- Birthright Israel may revise these terms without prior notice, so you agree to check this agreement periodically. Your continued use of this site will confirm your acceptance of the changes we make to these terms.

14. Donations and Refunds
We will consider a refund in the specific circumstances listed below upon a justified request from the donor:
- We will refund your donation if there was an error made by us.
- We will refund your donation if the donation was made unknowingly, for example in a situation where a donation was made with a stolen or lost card.
- We may refund if you have accidentally entered the wrong amount.
- We may refund if you have accidentally created a monthly donation whereas your intention was to make a one-off donation.
- We may refund in other similar exceptional circumstances.
15. Refund Terms and Conditions
- To request a refund of your donation please email us at giving@test.taglit.foundation within 30 days after the date of making the donation, including if you wish to request a refund for a monthly donation. Will not be able to refund any donations further than the past 30 days in all situations.
- We can only issue a refund to the same card or account from which the donation was made. This includes all credit and debit card payments, PayPal, direct debit, and all other payment methods currently available at our website.
16. Requesting a Refund
If you wish to request a refund, please email us at giving@test.taglit.foundation and provide:
- your full name,
- the email address provided when making the donation,
- your country of residence
- your phone number,
- date on which the donation was made,
- the amount of the relevant donation
- payment method, and
- all relevant circumstances justifying your request.
Upon receipt we will review your request and endeavor to respond to you within 5 business days. If the request is accepted, we will process the refund as soon as possible. Please note that it may take 10-14 business days until a refund reaches your account.
